In 2005, Follow Up Ministries Inc. acquired a beautiful and flourishing 21-acre retreat center between Angels Camp and Murphys in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of east-central California. Our vision for this facility is to create and operate a Prison Ministry Training Center, a long-time goal of the FUMI leadership.

The FUMI Prison Ministry Training Center at Murphys Christian Camp is located in the heart of the '49er Mother Lode Gold Rush Country. It is an intimate camp and retreat venue offering a full-range of services and excellent, modern facilities. Murphys Christian Camp was originally founded more than 30 years ago to provide a spiritual retreat and camp for inner-city youth. Today it continues its expanded Christian camping ministry,  offering its facilities and support services for rent year-round to Christian churches and other compatible groups for summer camps, weekend retreats, seminars, and small conferences.
