Support for Chaplains
Follow Up Ministries is a true "chaplaincy" ministry. Its programs, its approach to volunteers, its doctrines and study aids, all are designed with the unique needs of the institutional chaplain in mind. Its purpose is to provide extensions, "arms and legs," to help chaplains leverage their resources in a prison system that is growing too rapidly. The following services may be useful in helping you, the chaplain, multiply your own "loaves and fishes." We invite you to consider them in relation to your chapel programs and prison outreach.

Prison Discipleship Seminars
This series of in-prison seminars addresses the needs of Christian prisoners for training in discipleship principles and methods. It helps chaplains teach inmates to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and at the same time assists the church in fulfilling its Great Commission work of evangelism inside prison. By equipping and challenging Christian prisoners to serve as "inside missionaries," other prisoners are won to Christ. The result is multiplication of Christian faith inside the walls and more responsible citizenship outside in the community.
The "God Squad" Volunteer program
Follow Up Ministries God Squad is a team of volunteer Christians who care. They are specially selected and trained to serve the spiritual needs of prisoners. Guided by experienced professionals, this select team is part of a program to complement and support the work of chaplains, pastors and missionaries. We become their extra arms and legs serving those in prison.
Correspondence Bible Studies
The "Scripture Investigation Course" is a mail-order Bible study program consisting of 28 lessons, graded in difficulty, and provided free to those who request it. It is designed to give beginning students a brief but thorough introduction to the Bible, to Jesus Christ, and to basic principles of Christian living and service. In addition, we ask our volunteers to take it as a refresher course in "core" doctrines. It is a "tool of the craftsman" that is effective in helping new believers grow in their knowledge of God. It was developed by Follow Up Ministries in 1956, and has been used by many thousands of students over the years. It is available in English, Spanish and Russian.

A Trans-denominational Ministry
Follow Up Ministries, Inc. is a California non-profit corporation, governed by a Board of Directors drawn from the Christian community, and administered by a small professional staff. Much of
its mission work is accomplished by volunteers, called the "God Squad." Its President and Founder is Rev. Glenn L. Morrison, a veteran of many years of service in prison chaplaincy. Follow Up is a home mission
— "trans-denominational" in focus — supported by tax-deductible gifts from private individuals and a handful of churches. It receives no denominational or governmental support.

If you as a chaplain would like to learn more about our work and how we might help, we suggest you contact our President, Glenn Morrison, directly by calling our
